• Artist profile information, stage name, biography, social links, and payout setup status

Content and creator data

• Music, videos, cover artwork, descriptions, tags, playlists, comments or reports where enabled
• Creator analytics, upload history, moderation records, and payout requests

Device, app, and usage data

• App version, device type, operating system, language, crash logs, diagnostics, and identifiers
• Playback activity, searches, likes, follows, library activity, and session timestamps
• Guest session identifiers and advertising identifiers where permitted by law

Local media access

If you grant permission, the app may scan audio and video files already stored on your device so you can browse and play local media inside the app. We do not claim ownership of your local files simply because the app can access them.

• To stream music and videos, including secure playback and content delivery
• To support artist uploads, analytics, and revenue allocation
• To personalize recommendations and improve search and discovery

3. Legal bases and consent

We process information based on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating the platform, our contractual obligations to provide services, and compliance with legal duties. Where required, we request permission for local media access, notifications, and similar device-level features.

We may share information with service providers that support hosting, storage, analytics, advertising, payments, authentication, customer support, security, moderation, and app performance. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect users, or in connection with a merger, sale, or business transfer.

5. Advertising and analytics

The app may display ads and use analytics tools. These providers may collect device or usage data under their own policies. You are responsible for reviewing and accurately disclosing such collection in Google Play Data safety and your app privacy settings.

6. Data retention

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements. Backup copies and transaction records may remain for a limited period after deletion requests where permitted by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

Stream Wave is not intended for children who are below the minimum age allowed under applicable law or platform rules without parental or guardian authorization. Do not upload or submit content involving minors unless you have all required rights and consents.
